I'm working with an established EdTech company that's using technology to make a real difference in education, and they're looking for a QA Test Analyst to join their growing engineering team.
This role will suit someone who enjoys automation testing and wants to work on the backend of software products rather than front-end UI testing. You'll be helping to improve the quality of business-critical systems, integrations and data, while working alongside developers and product teams to deliver reliable software.
The team is also beginning to explore how AI and automation can improve the way they work, so if you've had exposure to AI-assisted testing or agentic workflows, that's a definite bonus - but it's by no means essential.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and executing automated test cases
- Testing backend systems, integrations and data quality
- Working closely with developers to identify and resolve issues early
- Supporting regression, system and performance testing
- Helping improve testing processes and automation across the team
- Contributing to a collaborative Agile environment
What they're looking for:
- Commercial experience in a QA or Test Analyst role
- Automation testing experience (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar)
- Understanding of software testing principles and the software development lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Experience within SaaS, EdTech or software product environments would be beneficial
Nice to have:
- Experience testing APIs, integrations or data-focused systems
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing, agentic workflows or MCPs
- ISTQB certification
