Are you an experienced HVAC Engineer looking for your next career step? If so, please read on! We are looking to recruit a HVAC Contract Manager for our growing department and fast-paced business. This role will consist of negotiating, managing, and executing contracts for the business, ensuring all contracts align with the company’s vision and regulatory obligations.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Effective day-to-day management of maintenance contracts.
- Responsible for managing engineers daily.
- Create harmonised designs that meet programme and budget requirements.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring effective collaboration with consultants and addressing client change requests.
- Embrace detailed design levels at each stage, proactively addressing challenges and informing senior management.
- Supervising contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and governance.
- Manage sites to ensure contracts are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor our subcontractors to ensure that we provide a valued service.
- Produce project plans.
- Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, stakeholders, and employees to ensure smooth delivery of contracts.
- Coordinate and supervise staff working on projects.
- Provide quotations and source materials.
- Carry out general contract administration.
- Provide Risk Assessment Method Statements for clients.
- Implementation and management of H & S plans.
- To liaise with auditors, providing all information as required and dealing with any queries.
- To follow agreed procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and processes.
- Identify new lines of business and tendering for new projects/contracts.
- Covering Managers call out rota when required.

The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years + experience of working in the HVAC, commercial plumbing and pipe fitting sector.
- Proven success as a Mechanical/HVAC Designer is essential for this role.
- CAD designer experience is highly sought after but not essential.
- Site experience preferable.
- Proven experience in a supervisor/leader role managing a team, ideally with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritise workloads.
- Proficient user of MS Office packages.
- Ability to work efficiently, effectively, diligently and courteously without the need for constant supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
- Holds a full and valid Driving Licence.
