Your future role within QRT
We are seeking an experienced Quantitative Technologist to support our Treasury Analytics Team by developing analytical tools that enhance trading decisions across asset classes.
The role is expected to involve the following activities
- Design, develop and maintain production-grade analytical and trading applications for the Treasury Desk.
- Build value-add analytics to optimise Treasury trading decisions across asset classes.
- Work closely with Treasury stakeholders to understand trading requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Onboard and integrate new datasets to support trade idea generation, financing analysis and decision-making.
- Design software architectures and data solutions that integrate the Treasury data ecosystem with the broader QRT technology platform.
- Enhance existing analytics platforms by addressing performance bottlenecks, reducing read latency and improving system scalability.
- Develop new technological capabilities, including real-time analytics and AI-enabled agent workflows.
- Contribute across all stages of the software development lifecycle, from solution design and implementation through to testing, deployment and production support.
- Continuously improve the Treasury Desk’s engineering standards, technical architecture and development practices.
Your present skillset
- 3–5 years’ experience working as a Quantitative Developer, Quantitative Technologist or in a similar role
- Strong quantitative skills and a solid understanding of financial markets
- Good knowledge of fixed income products and markets
- Demonstrable experience designing, building and supporting production-grade software systems
- Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design and common software design patterns
- Strong database knowledge, including indexing, partitioning, caching and query optimisation
- Comfortable contributing across all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Demonstrable ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
- Desirable to have experience or a willingness to learn in the following areas:
- Statistics, quantitative modelling or financial analytics
- Cloud-native technologies, including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and infrastructure automation
- Real-time data processing and analytics
- Financial data infrastructure and the integration of complex data ecosystems
- Modern AI-assisted software development tools
- Treasury, financing, collateral or liquidity management systems
