More than just a studio, Qube offers an entire creator industry behind one membership, working with individual creators, record labels, and brands across multiple London locations.

The Event Manager will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, from initial client contact through to post-event evaluation. This position involves working closely with private clients and the marketing team, managing budgets, and ensuring seamless event operations.

Event Sales & Coordination Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound event enquiries across all channels, including email, phone, our Events inbox, and third-party listings platforms such as Tagvenue and Peerspace.
  • Own the end-to-end event booking process from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking ensuring an excellent client experience throughout.
  • Prepare accurate invoices and deposit requests in a timely manner, and ensure payments are received ahead of the event date where appropriate.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reporting across event bookings, wet sales, and conversion rates, updating the sales tracker consistently.
  • Proactively follow up with past clients to encourage repeat bookings and build long-term relationships.
  • Build and manage relationships with event concierges and agencies to help generate new business leads.
Event Coordination and Management
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution with private clients, member events, and writing camps.
  • Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and checklists to ensure seamless execution.
  • Act as Event Duty Manager when required for events.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and within budgetary constraints.
  • Be responsible for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of each event, optimizing revenue and controlling costs.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure venues are ready for events.
  • Schedule and staff all events, ensuring adequate coverage and exceptional service.
  • Hire, train, and manage a roster of part-time event staff.
  • Provide leadership and support to event staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee the execution of events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Address any issues that arise during events, making real-time decisions to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and assess event success.
  • Implement improvements and adjustments for future events based on client and staff feedback.
