About Qube

Qube is the world’s first members’ club for music and content creators, combining a vibrant creative community with state-of-the-art studios, workspaces, and social spaces. More than just a studio, Qube offers an entire creator industry behind one membership, working with individual creators, record labels, and brands across multiple London locations. We’re a fast-growing startup building a new category within the creative industries. In Summer 2026, we’re opening a new flagship site in the heart of Shoreditch and we’re looking for an exceptional General Manager to join the founding team and lead the site from day one.

This is a rare opportunity to shape, launch, and scale a flagship location, working closely with the Head of Operations through pre-opening, launch, and live operations. You’ll have full ownership of site performance, team leadership, member experience, and commercial success.

The Role

The General Manager is the most senior on-site leader at Qube Shoreditch and is accountable for the overall success of the site. This role blends hospitality-led operations, people leadership, and commercial ownership, while delivering a best-in-class experience for members. You will be hands-on, entrepreneurial, and deeply invested in building a thriving creative community, while ensuring the site meets its financial and operational targets.

Pre-Opening and Site Set Up

  • Work alongside the Head of Operations to support mobilisation, setup, and launch of the Shoreditch site
  • Help shape operational processes, standards, and ways of working ahead of opening
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of the founding site team
  • Ensure systems, suppliers, contractors, and teams are operationally ready for launch
  • Act as a key culture carrier, embedding Qube’s values from day one

Site Operations and Facilities

  • Oversee daily operations across studios, workspaces, offices, bars, and communal areas
  • Ensure all spaces and equipment are maintained to the highest standard
  • Manage facilities, maintenance, contractors, and service contracts
  • Take full responsibility for Fire Safety, Health & Safety, and site compliance
  • Own and uphold operational processes to deliver a flawless member experience

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop the founding Qube Shoreditch team
  • Create clarity around roles, ownership, and accountability
  • Deliver regular one-to-ones, coaching, feedback, and performance reviews
  • Support team development and long-term progression
  • Be a visible, hands-on leader on site

Member Experience and Community

  • Own relationships with all members across studios, workspace, and office clients
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex member issues
  • Be accountable for member retention, NPS, and overall satisfaction
  • Foster a strong, engaged creative community aligned with Qube’s ethos

Growth and Financial Performance

  • Own and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Contribute to performance reporting across operational and commercial metrics
  • Manage credit control, invoicing, and payment processes
  • Support growth initiatives and revenue optimisation alongside central teams

About You

  • Proven experience in hospitality, members’ clubs, coworking, flexible workspace, or creative-led environments
  • Minimum 3 years people management experience
  • Strong building operations or venue management background
  • Bar management experience / knowledge preferred
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary environments (F&B, studios, events, workspace)
  • Comfortable in startup or scale-up environments
  • Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • Resilient, adaptable, and motivated by building from the ground up

You Should Apply if

  • You’re excited by opening and shaping a brand-new site from day one
  • You’re passionate about music, creative culture, and supporting creators
  • You’re a confident, empathetic leader with a hospitality-first mindset
  • You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • You bring calm, clarity, and structure under pressure
  • You’re driven, curious, and excited to grow with a scaling business
