The Qube is the world's first members' studio for content creators, merging a meaningful community of a members' club with the magic of a creative studio and the convenience of a co-working space.

As Barista at Qube Shoreditch, you'll be behind the bar every weekday morning through to mid-afternoon, delivering high-quality coffee and drinks for our members and guests. You'll set the tone for the day, the first "wow, it's you" moment for a lot of members as they come in and grab their coffee before heading to their desk or studio.
This role is focused on coffee, drinks and the bar/café area itself. You'll work closely with the Community team to keep the space running smoothly, but your core focus is quality, consistency and warmth behind the bar.
- Coffee & Beverage Service
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages to members and guests.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all drinks served throughout the day.
- Assist with light food and snack prep and service where required.
- Bar & Café Presentation
- Set up the bar/coffee area each morning, ready for members arriving from 08:00.
- Keep the bar and coffee area clean, tidy and well-presented throughout the day.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups and other bar supplies, and submit orders to keep the café stocked.
- Monitor and record wastage, helping minimise unnecessary loss and keep costs under control.
- Work closely with the Community team to keep the front-of-house experience consistent across the building.
- Ensure members feel heard and looked after if they raise an issue while at the bar, escalating as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety and food hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic bar area at all times.
- Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues in the bar/café area promptly.
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is essential. A Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate is desirable. You should have a genuine passion for coffee, food and hospitality. Enjoyment of a fast-paced morning rush as much as a quieter afternoon is important. You're excited to be part of a growing, creative community in the heart of Shoreditch.
