Qube is the world’s first members’ club for music and content creators, combining a vibrant creative community with state-of-the-art studios, workspaces, and social spaces. More than just a studio, Qube offers an entire creator industry behind one membership, working with individual creators, record labels, and brands across multiple London locations. We’re a fast-growing startup building a new category within the creative industries. In Summer 2026, we’re opening a new flagship site in the heart of Shoreditch and we’re looking for an exceptional General Manager to join the founding team and lead the site from day one. This is a rare opportunity to shape, launch, and scale a flagship location, working closely with the Head of Operations through pre-opening, launch, and live operations. You’ll have full ownership of site performance, team leadership, member experience, and commercial success.
The Role
The General Manager is the most senior on-site leader at Qube Shoreditch and is accountable for the overall success of the site. This role blends hospitality-led operations, people leadership, and commercial ownership, while delivering a best-in-class experience for members. You will be hands-on, entrepreneurial, and deeply invested in building a thriving creative community, while ensuring the site meets its financial and operational targets.
Pre-Opening and Site Set Up
- Work alongside the Head of Operations to support mobilisation, setup, and launch of the Shoreditch site
- Help shape operational processes, standards, and ways of working ahead of opening
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of the founding site team
- Ensure systems, suppliers, contractors, and teams are operationally ready for launch
- Act as a key culture carrier, embedding Qube’s values from day one
Site Operations and Facilities
- Oversee daily operations across studios, workspaces, offices, bars, and communal areas
- Ensure all spaces and equipment are maintained to the highest standard
- Manage facilities, maintenance, contractors, and service contracts
- Take full responsibility for Fire Safety, Health
