Our client is based in central Gravesend with excellent public transport links or access to free parking on site. They are now looking to recruit a Team Compliance Officer on a Fixed Term 2-year contract. The Job: Ensuring all relevant H&S and Compliance documentation is in place along with the correct controls, processes, and procedures. They will be regular team audits that will need to be completed to assess compliance and performance. Requirements: * H&S qualification * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role * Must hold a UK driving licence for manual vehicles. * High standard of education including IT, Science or Engineering Person Spec: * Able to develop effective working relationships. * Able to influence and negotiate. * Numerate, able to understand and interpret data. * Able to produce reports. * Familiar with hazards and regulations * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Responsibilities: * Develop new and review existing H&S documents. * Conduct regular audits of team documentation. * Create new and enhance existing processes. * Attend sites to gain understanding of activities. * Consult with both internal and external stakeholders. * Manage contractors, ahead of works or site attendance. * Identify and source appropriate training. Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm Some travel involved to sites
