Warehouse Operative Location: Maidstone Pay: £13.73 per hour Shift: Nights Hours: Monday to Sunday Shifts Available Shift Options * 23:00 – 06:30 * 00:00 – 08:00 About the Role We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join the team at Yodel in Aylesham. You’ll play an important role in making sure parcels are processed efficiently and safely, helping to keep deliveries running smoothly and ensuring customers receive their orders on time. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll work as part of a supportive team. Previous warehouse experience is useful but not essential, as full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities * Sort parcels accurately and efficiently according to delivery routes. * Load and unload vans safely and securely. * Ensure parcels are handled carefully to minimise damage. * Work to daily deadlines and performance targets. * Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe. * Follow all health & safety and manual handling procedures. * Work closely with colleagues to keep operations running smoothly. * Maintain a reliable and positive approach throughout each shift. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for people who are: * Reliable and punctual. * Comfortable working night shifts. * Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling. * Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods. * Able to work in a fast-paced environment. * A strong team player with good communication skills. * Committed to following health & safety procedures. * Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
