Role Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable 7.5T Driver to join our delivery team in Basingstoke. You will be responsible for delivering white goods (including washing machines, fridge freezers, and ovens) directly to customers' homes, ensuring a high standard of service at every stage. This is a physically demanding, customer-facing role requiring both driving expertise and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries of white goods using a 7.5T vehicle
- Safely load, secure, and transport products to customer locations
- Deliver goods into customers' homes with care and professionalism
- Assist with installation of appliances where required (training provided)
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the brand positively
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and handheld device updates
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults or issues
- Comply with all road traffic laws, driver hours, and tachograph regulations
- Work collaboratively as part of a two-person delivery team
Working Hours
Start time: 06:30
Shifts vary depending on delivery routes and volumes
Rolling 5-on, 3-off shift pattern, including weekends
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement (7.5T)
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous delivery or multi-drop experience preferred
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations
- Flexible approach to working hours and weekend work
Desirable Experience
- Experience delivering white goods or other large/bulky items
- Basic installation experience (e.g. connecting appliances)
