About the Role
We’re looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Trunking Drivers to join our professional logistics team. This is clean, easy trunking work — no handball, no multidrop — moving trailers or cages between depots and customer sites. You’ll be operating modern, well-maintained vehicles for a respected logistics company, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable transport operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Class 1 trunking routes between depots and customer hubs.
- Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks to company and DVSA standards.
- Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly.
- Accurately complete all paperwork and digital logs.
- Comply with all tachograph, driver hours, and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with colleagues and customers.
Requirements
- Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
- Previous Class 1 trunking experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of driver compliance and safety standards.
- Reliable, responsible, and professional attitude.
