We are looking for an experienced Strip & Refit Technician to join a busy vehicle repair team based in Hoo, Medway.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on vehicles and has strong attention to detail.
The Role
As a Strip & Refit Technician, you will be responsible for removing and refitting vehicle components as part of the repair process.
Your duties will include:
- Stripping vehicles prior to repair
- Removing damaged panels, trims and components
- Refitting panels and vehicle components following repairs
- Working alongside panel beaters and other technicians
- Ensuring all components are correctly fitted and functioning
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
- Following health and safety procedures
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a Strip & Refit Technician or similar role
- Have good knowledge of vehicle components and bodywork
- Be confident using hand and workshop tools
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in producing a high standard of work
- Be reliable and hardworking
- Have your own transport / be able to drive, as the Hoo location can be difficult to access by public transport
