About the Role
We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Trunking Drivers to join our professional logistics team. This is clean, easy trunking work with no handball or multidrop, moving trailers or cages between depots and customer sites. You will be operating modern, well-maintained vehicles for a respected logistics company, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable transport operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Class 1 trunking routes between depots and customer hubs.
- Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks to company and DVSA standards.
- Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly.
- Accurately complete all paperwork and digital logs.
- Comply with all tachograph, driver hours, and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with colleagues and customers.
Requirements
- Valid Category CE (Class 1) licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
- Strong understanding of driver compliance and safety standards.
- Reliable, responsible, and professional attitude.
