HGV Class 1 Drivers in Eastleigh

About the Role

We’re looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Trunking Drivers to join our professional logistics team. This is clean, easy trunking work — no handball, no multidrop — moving trailers or cages between depots and customer sites. You’ll be operating modern, well‑maintained vehicles for a respected logistics company, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Class 1 trunking routes between depots and customer hubs.
• Carry out pre‑ and post‑shift vehicle checks to company and DVSA standards.
• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly.
• Accurately complete all paperwork and digital logs.
• Comply with all tachograph, driver hours, and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with colleagues and customers.

Requirements

• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
• Previous Class 1 trunking experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of driver compliance and safety standards.
• Reliable, responsible, and professional attitude.
