Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a number of 7.5t Driver Technician/Installers to join the very prestigious John Lewis Partnership on a permanent basis.

What will you do in a typical day?

Drivers will be tasked with the home delivery of products to customers properties, where they will need to complete technical installation and assembly services.

• Being an ambassador for the John Lewis brand carrying out home deliveries
• Installing a number of products such as kitchen appliances, integrated white goods, free standing/wall mounted TV sets & furniture
• Keeping up to date with new products and technologies to help perform the role at its best
• Working as part of a 2-person crew alongside a Porter
• Helping load the lorry with the deliveries working alongside the warehouse team

What are the requirements?

• Previous experience of installation is required for this role, however John Lewis training is provided
• C1 (7.5T) licence, CPC & Digital Tachograph
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service with a high level of enthusiasm

What are the shift patterns & rates of pay?

• AM – 06:00 until 17:00
• The standard working week offers 41hrs across four days (Monday – Saturday & closed on Sunday)
