Our client is seeking a reliable, proactive, and experienced Area Cleaning Manager/Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites including schools and sheltered housing within the Kent & Medway area. You’ll be responsible for managing cleaners, maintaining high cleaning standards, ensuring compliance, and liaising with clients. This is a mobile role, so you must be able to travel between sites as required. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and support cleaning teams across designated locations * Conduct regular site audits, quality checks, and spot inspections * Liaise with site contacts to maintain service satisfaction * Train, induct, and support new cleaning staff * Monitor stock levels and order supplies when needed * Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all sites * Submit reports and maintain records as needed * Must be willing to be \”hands on\” and willing to occasionally clean to cover staff shortages Requirements: * Previous experience in cleaning supervision (essential) * Full UK driving licence (essential) for access to company van * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Flexible, organised, and able to work under pressure * Strong understanding of cleaning practices, H&S, and COSHH regulations * IT literate (basic reporting and rota management) Hours 40 per week. Monday to Friday
