This is an excellent opportunity to join a company, working in the built environment, dedicated to creating a more sustainable and inclusive society. As part of a period of growth there is a requirement for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor based on the outskirts of Sevenoaks. The role: * Procurement – prepare and issue subcontract or trade packages. Assist in the analysis and comparison of subcontractor quotes * Main Contract – Evaluate materials on site. To assist in preparation of monthly valuation * Subcontract – Site measurement of different trades. Payment to sub-contactors. Assist in the preparation of sub-contactor Final Accounts * Financial – Competent use of company cost system. Prepare supporting information for monthly reporting. * Other – File and distribute documents and drawings. Qualifications: * Previous experience with the construction industry would be desirable * IT literate including Excel.
