Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Two-Person Crew)
Location: Rochester
Salary: £18.25 per hour + Overtime (£27.37 per hour)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We are looking for reliable, hardworking Class 2 Drivers to join our well-known successful client in Rochester, Kent. This is a physically demanding role that requires commitment, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities for Class 2 Drivers:
- Deliver kitchen units and components directly to customer properties
- Work as part of a two-person delivery crew
- Safely handle and transport heavy goods
- Complete 5–10 deliveries (“drops”) per day
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
What to Expect:
- Physically demanding work involving heavy lifting
- Early start times between 4:00am – 6:00am
- Average working days of 11–12 hours
Pay & Benefits:
- Strong Class 2 Driver rates of £18.25 per hour, standard rate
- Overtime paid at £27.37 per hour
- Consistent Monday to Friday schedule
- Opportunity for regular overtime
Requirements:
- Valid driving licence (appropriate category for vehicle - Class 2 Driver)
- Good level of physical fitness
- Ability to work early starts and long shifts
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
