The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy transport operation, completing multi-drop deliveries to convenience stores.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering a consistent four-day working week, with the added benefit of overtime opportunities every other Saturday.

Working Hours
You'll be working a consistent 40-hour week across four 10-hour shifts:
- Monday: Start between 04:00 and 07:00.
- Tuesday: Start between 11:00 and 15:00.
- Wednesday: Start between 11:00 and 15:00.
- Thursday: Start between 11:00 and 15:00.
Additional overtime:
- Every other Saturday.
- Start time to be confirmed.
- Saturday shifts paid at overtime rates.
Please note that flexibility to work the additional Saturday shift every other week is essential.
The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to convenience stores, ensuring goods are delivered safely, accurately and on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries to convenience stores.
- Loading, checking and securing vehicle loads.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
- Following all road transport, company and health and safety procedures.
- Carrying out manual handling duties when required.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- A valid Driver CPC qualification.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous HGV driving experience, ideally within a multi-drop environment.
- A good understanding of UK driving laws and regulations.
- Flexibility to work early morning starts.
- Availability to work every other Saturday for overtime.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
- The ability to carry out manual handling duties.
