Do you want to own the strategy and the execution for market-leading ophthalmic brands? We are exclusively recruiting a Marketing Manager for a growing pharmaceutical organisation in the ophthalmology space. This is a key hire at an exciting time, as they continue to expand across the UK and into global markets. You will take end-to-end ownership of brands, shaping strategy and turning it into impactful campaigns. The remit covers both UK and Global, with the majority of activity focused on the UK.

The Role

  • Build and own the marketing strategy and execution plans for each brand
  • Develop new marketing tools and campaigns, including digital, in-clinic promotions and events
  • Deliver engaging training and presentations to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Present monthly brand performance and insight to the senior management team
  • Identify and commission market research to understand market dynamics and customer perceptions

The Person

  • Essential: Current or recent pharmaceutical marketing experience, with some background or exposure to ophthalmology
  • Experience in Global or Regional marketing roles
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with a track record of turning insight into clear plans
  • A creative, energetic and solutions-focused approach – comfortable rolling up your sleeves as well as thinking long term

The Package

  • Base salary: £70,000 – £80,000 (depending on experience)
  • Bonus potential
  • Private healthcare and 5% pension
  • 26 days’ holiday + bank holidays
