Junior Planner – Catfield, Norfolk – £26,000 – £30,000 Would you like to work for specialist manufacturing company going through growth? This is an opportunity for junior planner to join a global company with a strong reputation in the marine industry. The role of junior planner will suit someone with previous manufacturing experience and proficient with strong IT skills. The job role and responsibilities: As Junior Planner you will help develop a production schedule for one or multiple products, detailing tasks and when production should be completed. You will have various responsibilities but the key elements for this role are highlighted below: * To liaise with production managers and purchasing manager * Review daily, weekly and monthly production output plans * Take part in stocktakes * To manage inventory * Review data to ensure correct levels of manpower * Also review materials and stock to ensure continual supply The requirements: To be suitable for the role of Junior Planner you will ideally have the following experience and skillset: * Previous experience in a planning or administration role in manufacturing is essential * Knowledge of inventory control and planning and scheduling would be ideal * Experience using an MRP system * Strong IT skills The package: This company pride themselves on their core values and how they treat their employees.
