We are recruiting for a First Line Manager on behalf of a growing ophthalmic company with a strong UK presence and global reach. This is a field-based commercial leadership role and a key hire for the business. It is a great opportunity for someone with previous pharmaceutical sales leadership experience who enjoys building, developing and motivating teams, whilst also remaining close to customers and the market.
The role will cover the South / London / South East and would suit someone with experience leading teams within pharma, ideally with exposure to hospital, formulary and ICB networks. Previous ophthalmology experience would be highly advantageous.
The Role
- Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing sales team
- Spend the majority of your time in the field, coaching and supporting team members
