We are exclusively partnered with an established medical device company that is entering an exciting phase of growth. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced, regulated medical device sales professional to join as the first external sales hire and take a leading role in developing the UK commercial footprint within the NHS.

You will build relationships across ICBs and key clinical stakeholders, progressing formulary applications and converting approvals into measurable prescribing uptake and repeat usage.

The Role

  • Develop and strengthen relationships within ICBs to support and progress formulary applications.
  • Convert successful formulary approvals into prescription growth and sustained repeat usage.
  • Accelerate adoption in regions where formulary applications are not required by converting clinical engagement into prescribing.
  • Build credibility with key stakeholders including consultants, GPs, nursing teams and wider clinical staff.
  • Deliver training and education sessions confidently and professionally.

The Person

  • Proven medical device field sales experience, ideally with regulated products.
  • Confidence building multi-level NHS relationships and influencing decision-making.
  • A structured, commercial approach, balancing long-term account development with short-term delivery.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to run training events and clinical discussions.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset, with a genuine appetite for ownership and autonomy.

  • Base salary circa £60,000
