We are recruiting a Senior Account Manager to join a growing pharmaceutical wholesaler based in Surrey. This company is part of a larger group of companies with headquarters in Europe, who are leading players in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining account management, coordination and identifying new opportunities within a fast-paced, supportive team. The role: As Senior Account Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of customer accounts
- Managing enquiries and maintaining strong client relationships
- Processing purchase orders accurately and in line with quality procedures
- Ensuring documentation is correctly filed and audit ready
- Supporting international requests for UK origin products
- Identifying new sales opportunities within accounts
- Assisting with regulatory and administrative paperwork
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow
What we’re looking for: To be successful in the role of Senior Account Manager you will ideally have:
- Experience in an account management, customer support or coordination role
- A background in pharmaceuticals or a regulated environment
- Export experience
- Wholesale experience would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook); SAGE is a bonus
