We are exclusively recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a UK based healthcare company with a strong UK footprint and global reach. This is a territory role covering Birmingham and the wider Midlands and will suit someone who enjoys developing NHS accounts, building relationships across integrated care, and growing market share through a structured account plan. The role As Business Development Manager, you will:
- Build and develop relationships across secondary care and primary care, including ICBs and community stakeholders
- Develop and deliver an account plan with key customers and prospects across the territory
- Work towards agreed targets, identifying opportunities to increase adoption and grow market share
- Carry out competitor and market analysis to support territory strategy
- Become the local market expert for your patch, understanding customer needs, pathways and demographics
The person To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Sales or account management experience within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or wider healthcare
- Strong NHS stakeholder engagement, ideally across hospital and integrated care settings
- A commercial mindset with the drive to achieve targets and build long term accounts
- A high level of autonomy and organisation, as this is a home based role with frequent travel
The package The successful candidate will receive:
- Base salary: £60,000 to £65,000 depending on experience
- Car allowance: £520 per month
- Discretionary bonus
- Private healthcare and 5% pension
- 26 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
