We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager for a growing healthcare business with a strong specialist product portfolio. This is a field-based role covering East Anglia & Lincolnshire and will suit someone with pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience who enjoys account management, building strong customer relationships and growing territory sales. Likely commutable areas include Norwich, King’s Lynn, Great Yarmouth, Lincoln, Boston, Scunthorpe, Goole, Hull and Bury St Edmunds.

The Role

  • Manage and grow business across the East Anglia & Lincolnshire territory
  • Build relationships with key customers across the NHS and private sector
  • Develop account plans and identify opportunities to increase market share
  • Promote and educate customers on a specialist product portfolio
  • Manage customer records and use data to support planning and reporting

The Person

  • Previous pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare sales experience
  • ABPI qualification
  • A strong track record of sales success
  • Experience working with NHS customers
  • A proactive, account management-led approach
  • Strong communication, planning and relationship-building skills

Experience within ophthalmology would be advantageous but is not essential.

The Package

  • £50,000–£55,000 salary
  • 15–20% bonus after probation
  • Company car or £525 monthly car allowance
  • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays
