Our client is an Engineering company based in Manchester and they require two skilled Mechanical Fitters to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is to mainly overhaul and repair electric motors and pumps in their workshop.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying worn bearings, shafts, rotors and stators.
- Working with the team to replace bearings.
- Removing and installing equipment on industrial, chemical and water sites around the area.
Any site experience would be an advantage. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm. The salary is £37,500 - £40,000 plus call out bonus and regular overtime.
