Our client, a well-established engineering company based in the North West, is currently looking for a Sales Manager to lead and develop an existing team of Sales Representatives into a high-performing Salesforce.

  • Lead and coach a team of sales representatives, enabling them to exceed their targets consistently.
  • Run weekly 1-on-1s with each direct report to help them overcome roadblocks and chart their progress and performance.
  • Monitor team KPIs and proactively identify the actions that your team members can take to improve profitable sales in their areas each month.
  • Enable the team to identify and recruit new accounts and grow revenue from existing customers.
  • Analyse team performance data to suggest scalable improvements to core sales processes and sales training.
  • Mentor individuals to improve performance in key areas including regular joint visits to new and existing accounts.

About You:

  • At least ten years of experience in a target-driven sales position.
  • You have examples of sales reps you've coached from underperforming to high achieving.
  • You instinctively document the training, team building, and sales process plays that work and share them with your colleagues to drive improvement across your organization.
  • You have an established network of contacts in the engineering or maintenance functions in industrial, chemical, food, automotive, and energy sectors.
