Main tasks of job
- Carrying out servicing, diagnosis, maintenance and repairs of VWG vehicles
- Repairing vehicles in line with manufacturers’ standards to comply with warranty agreements
- Carry out vehicle inspections and be able to identify defects
- Undertake vehicle road testing
- Using the latest industry equipment; working within the company health & safety guidelines
- Air‑con repair/servicing
Requirements
- Full UK Driving license
- Genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Time served recognised apprenticeship and recognised qualification, level 3 preferred
- Electrical knowledge is an advantage
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to colleagues and customers
- Good technical knowledge
