Quattro Resourcing Ltd are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our client’s friendly and hardworking team in Sudbury, Suffolk. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role that offers variety, with the chance to split your working day between warehouse duties and local deliveries.

The successful candidate will spend part of their time working in the warehouse, preparing and handling goods, and will also be responsible for making deliveries using a 3.5-tonne Luton van. A full and valid UK driving licence is essential for this position.

The Role

Your duties will include:

  • Driving a 3.5t Luton van to deliver goods and materials safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading the vehicle
  • Ensuring goods are correctly secured during transportation
  • Carrying out vehicle checks before and during use
  • Completing delivery paperwork where required
  • Working alongside the warehouse team to prepare and organise goods
  • Picking, packing and moving stock within the warehouse
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Communicating professionally with colleagues, customers and delivery contacts
  • Following all relevant road safety and company procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in. You will ideally have previous experience in a driving, delivery or warehouse environment, although the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

You must:

  • Hold a full and valid UK Category B driving licence
  • Be confident driving a van
  • Be comfortable carrying out both driving and warehouse duties
  • Be physically capable of loading and unloading goods
  • Have a good attitude towards work and a strong level of reliability
  • Be able to work independently while also being part of a team
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be safety-conscious and take pride in your work

Previous experience driving a 3.5t Luton van or working within a warehouse environment would be advantageous.
