The Opportunity

Quattro Resourcing Ltd are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Van Driver to join our client’s friendly and hardworking team in Sudbury, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and reliable driver looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday position with regular hours and an ongoing workload.

You will be responsible for making deliveries using a 3.5-tonne Luton van, ensuring goods are transported safely, securely and on time to customers and delivery locations. The Role

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Driving a 3.5t Luton van to deliver goods and materials safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading the vehicle
  • Ensuring goods are correctly secured before and during transportation
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
  • Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation
  • Planning and following delivery routes efficiently
  • Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, customers and delivery contacts
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and within required timescales
  • Following all company, road safety and health & safety procedures
  • Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained

About You

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and professional Van Driver who takes pride in their work and can be trusted to represent the company when dealing with customers. Previous delivery or van driving experience would be advantageous, but the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important.

You must:

  • Hold a full and valid UK Category B driving licence
  • Be confident driving a 3.5-tonne Luton van
  • Have a good understanding of road safety
  • Be physically capable of loading and unloading goods
  • Have a good level of reliability and timekeeping
  • Be able to work independently and manage your own deliveries
  • Have good communication and customer service skills
  • Be professional and courteous when dealing with customers
  • Be safety-conscious and take pride in your work

Previous experience driving a 3.5t Luton van or working in a delivery role would be advantageous.
