Working Hours: Rotating shifts (Mon–Fri: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am)
Quattro Resourcing is working with our client, a highly respected and forward-thinking engineering business, to recruit a skilled CNC Setter / Operator to join their established machine shop team. The Role
You’ll play a key part in supporting production by setting and operating a variety of CNC machine tools within a busy, high-precision manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC machines (milling, turning, or grinding)
- Working to standard set and run times
- Monitoring component quality using inspection equipment including CMM
- Recording quality data
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Supporting programming where required
What We’re Looking For
- Completed engineering apprenticeship
- Experience with CNC/manual machining (milling, turning, or grinding)
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
Desirable:
- CNC/manual grinding experience
- CNC programming or GIBBS CAM exposure
- Basic PC skills (training provided)

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple machines, and demonstrate a logical and organised approach. A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are essential.
