We are recruiting an experienced and highly skilled Carpenter on behalf of our client who is a well-established, prestigious kitchen and bathroom company, renowned for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and luxury finishes. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional carpenter who takes pride in precision, quality, and working to the highest standards as you will be involved in the installation of high-end bespoke kitchens and bathrooms. Job Details
- Base Location – Birstall, Leicester
- Temp to perm position
- Midland based clients unless agreed
- You will need your own transport to start, however a vehicle will be provided when you are a full-time employee
- Uniform provided (tops only)
- Own tools required (basic tools only) - specialist tools for cutting marble etc provided
- Planned start date – 2nd/9th March 2026
Pay / Hours
- £30ph to £40ph based on experience
- Starts 8:30am generally finish around 4pm (hour lunch)
- Average 40 hour working week, this may increase based on customer needs
- Potentially longer hours nearer the completion of job
- Customer access can dictate start time
Job Description
- Full installation of high-end kitchens following bespoke and unique drawings and designs with most kitchens and bathrooms costing more than £50k minimum
- Accurate fitting of cornice, pelmet, end panels, and feature trims
- Integrated appliances - Gaggenau, Miele, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Qooker
- Worktops (timber, laminate, marble, quartz – stone templated separately where required)
- Base, wall, and tall units
- Scribing units and panels to walls and floors for a seamless finish
- Installation of bespoke or made-to-measure cabinetry where required
- Working with precious materials such as natural stone: marble (Carrara, Arabescato), granite, and travertine offer unique veining and texture for flooring, walls, and countertops
- Installation of vanity units, storage units, and bespoke furniture
- Boxing-in pipework and services neatly and accessible
- Fitting bath panels, WC units, and decorative panelling
- Installation of door linings, architraves, skirting, and window boards
- Working accurately in tight spaces with finished surfaces
- Spa-like touches - marble accessories (soap dishes, caddies), heated towel rails, and high-quality linens
- Creating a tranquil, sensory environment with scents, soft lighting, and comfort
- Tiles & surfaces that you will be working with: natural stone - marble (Carrara, Arabescato), granite, and travertine offer unique veining and texture for flooring, walls, and countertops
- High-end porcelain - creates the look of natural stone with greater durability and lower maintenance
- Quartz & solid surfaces - durable and seamless options for vanity tops and shower surrounds
- Fixtures & hardware (brassware) precious metals - gold, brushed gold, copper, and brass in faucets, showerheads, and towel rails
- Matte finishes - matte black or dark bronze for modern, sophisticated looks
- Designer brands - luxury brands like Hansgrohe, Duravit, and Burlington offer premium designs
- Stone resin/composite - materials like Victoria and Albert's Quarrycast carved stone/gemstone - ultra-luxury options include baths carved from rare stones
- Custom-built units in luxurious woods or finishes
- Integrated technology - mirrors with built-in LED lighting and TVs
General & Finishing Works will include:
- First-fix and second-fix carpentry as required
- Hanging internal doors (standard and fire doors where applicable)
- Final snagging and finishing to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and professional work environment at all times
- Liaising professionally with clients in their homes
