We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a supportive Secondary School in Coventry on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teacher who is enthusiastic about English and committed to inspiring young people through language and literature.
Responsibilities
- Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
- Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and progress
- Monitor student achievement and provide constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated and supportive English Department
Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching English at Secondary (ECTs are welcome to apply)
