Overview
This role sits within the Land - Weapons domain and the Lethality and Protect 4 Principal Engineer Team. The primary aim is to provide the correct and proportionate level of Weapons and OME (Ordnance, Munitions and Explosives) safety, environmental and engineering assurance to Director L&P, as the ESR (Executive Safety Responsible), for all munitions across DE&S and Other Government Departments, while key SQEP personnel are prioritised to support Ops Taskings.

Acquisition Safety delegation (ASD) - Admin
ASD - Maintain and submit waiver documentation for SR
Maintain and improve current PowerBI dashboard for S&E metrics.
Updated SHEC slides for quarterly reporting cycle
Refreshed SEMC format, slides and extracted data set
SCMT tracker, submit to QSEE, aid OBIs in submissions.
Review of L&P SEMS against unified SEMS to identify common areas and gaps.
- DE&S Policy Management
Tracking and responding to QSEE request and compliance reports
Development and Implementation of AP/HEA Sprints into L&P
- Audits Management
Audit planning, response and review of existing actions.
- DEFSTAN AMC - Review and Advice
Supporting work to provide advice against DEFSTANs AMC.
- OME Legislation Register
Plan of action to achieve compliance for OBIs.
- Engineering Assurance Planning
Planning of future activities above and wider PEng work, including 1LOD Audits.

- DE&S Engineering Policy experience
