The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Due to a growing volume of work, we are looking to hire an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a broad skill set across various disciplines, including design, engineering, construction, procurement, maintenance, and project management.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
- A strong ability to understand project objectives and deliverables
- Design and specification of electrical installations, from low voltage (LV) to 33kV systems
- Comprehensive modelling of electrical systems, including load calculations, fault level assessments, and coordination of protective measures
- Ensuring designs and on-site work comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Developing technical specifications for electrical equipment
Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes
The successful applicant will possess:
- A minimum qualification of HND/HNC or an equivalent credential is essential
- A minimum of five years of experience in electrical design
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other technical / electrical modelling software applications such as Amtech, ETAP, Power Factory, etc.
- Familiarity with relevant technical standards is required
- Strong skills in professional report writing
