We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Rugby Facilities team. You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing mechanical systems, plant, and equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs or component replacements.
  • Follow preventive maintenance schedules to maximise equipment uptime.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Support the Facilities Manager with plant maintenance and contractor coordination.

You are a self-motivated and resourceful engineer with a strong mechanical and electrical background. You take pride in delivering quality work and enjoy solving technical problems in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in factory or office environments.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Flexible to work out of hours, including weekends, when required.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with good attention to detail.
