We are looking for an experienced Electronics Assembly Team Leader to join our team in Rugby. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the assembly and manufacture of condition monitoring equipment. You will play a key role in driving operational performance, ensuring delivery commitments are met, and leading a high-performing team in a safe, efficient and quality-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and support the assembly team, promoting a strong safety-first culture
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly workloads to meet operational priorities
- Ensure assembly activities are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement across productivity, quality and cost efficiency
- Maintain and enforce adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, ideally with team leadership or supervisory responsibility
- Strong electronics knowledge with hands-on technical capability
- Good IT and software skills
- The ability to plan workloads, prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- HNC / City & Guilds or equivalent in Electro-mechanical Engineering (or similar)
- 3–5 years’ experience within a similar industry
