The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to work at our Grimsby business. Activities undertaken are both diverse and challenging as they cover all aspects of inspection and disassembly of Ac/DC Motors. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to develop and grow within the business.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
- Inspect and disassemble rotating machines including electric motors, gearboxes, and pumps.
- Undertake works to a high standard on a first-time fix basis where possible.
- Submit daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time.
- Ensure exceptional levels of customer care.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering either C&G or NVQ equivalent.
- Previous experience within an electro-mechanical environment.
- Experience of rotating equipment as well as root cause analysis and measuring.
- Methodical, detailed, and accurate approach to reports during the disassembly process.
