We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our dedicated team in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the production process, working within a dynamic environment that values quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Carry out quick changeovers between projects
- Follow company procedures and standards to consistently produce high‑quality products
- Reduce waste wherever possible and support lean manufacturing practices
- Meet production targets while maintaining focus on efficiency and quality
- Proactively seek more efficient methods of manufacture
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
- Previous experience in the coil industry (e.g., hand insulation or coil manufacturing) is beneficial but not essential
- Strong numeracy and measurement skills, with experience using micrometres, Vernier callipers, and go/no‑go gauges
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high standards
