The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Due to an increase in workload, we are now seeking an Electro Mechanical Fitter to work in our rotating machinery business based in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
- Being able to inspect and disassemble rotating machines both LV & HV
- Carry out inspections, overhauls & repairs of various motors that have been used in explosive atmospheres
- Accurately assess and observe damage and wear on AC/DC electric motors and other machines
- Quality control and technical compliance in accordance with project requirements
- Submission of daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time
- Hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering either C&G or NVQ equivalent
- Previous experience within an Electro-Mechanical environment
- Experience of rotating equipment as well as root cause analyses and measuring
- Be able to travel for short durations as and when required for specific site work and offshore scopes
- Previous or current AEMT training course preferred but not essential
