The Opportunity: To generate new business opportunities for Quartzelec’s Marine and LV Contracting Profit Centre, while maintaining and developing the existing customer base. The role will focus on driving commercial growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strategic sales plan aligned with business objectives
- Manage sales activity efficiently across the assigned regional territory
- Take responsibility for allocated Key Accounts, ensuring effective relationship management
- Increase sales revenue across the existing customer portfolio
- Identify and develop opportunities in new sectors and markets
- Compile, analyse, and present accurate sales reports
- Produce and submit detailed tenders for specified works
- Support the preparation of accurate quotations
- Conduct site surveys and assessments where required
- Consistently perform against agreed sales targets
- Maintain CRM data and manage general sales administration activities
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, events, and site visits
Your skills and experiences:
- Background in Marine and/or LV Maintenance
- Proven, demonstrable experience in a sales role
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Logical, analytical, and strategic approach to sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Results‑orientated, with evidence of achieving personal targets
- Understanding of statutory electrical compliance
