Quartzelec is an independent, multi-disciplined service provider, proudly employing over 600 people in the UK and beyond, with a turnover exceeding £90 million.

At Quartzelec, we deliver high-voltage (HV) installation and maintenance solutions across the UK, including design, erection, testing, and commissioning of new installations and refurbishments up to 33kV. Accredited under the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS), we have the in-house capability to design, install, test, and commission electrical utility connections for adoption by local DNOs.

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with strong HV Private Networks experience to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide engineering solutions for the installation and maintenance of HV & LV electrical systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

  • Manage projects to meet client requirements for specification, cost, and schedule.
  • Manage and control subcontractors and maintain company quality standards.
  • Execute HV construction and asset replacement projects (11kV–33kV).
  • Undertake on-site testing and commissioning of HV distribution systems.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in an electrical contracting environment.

HNC in Electrical Engineering (Power Distribution) preferred. IOSH/NEBOSH desirable.
