A premium countryside destination in North Devon is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to take full ownership of a wide-ranging and commercially significant operation. The property brings together hotel accommodation, self-catering lodges, spa and leisure, meetings and weddings under one roof with food and drink at the centre of the guest experience. This is not a standalone restaurant role. It requires someone who understands how a full resort works and can lead seamlessly across every outlet and occasion.

You will have end-to-end accountability for all food and beverage operations: restaurant and bar, weddings and private dining, meetings and events, and in-accommodation delivery across hotel rooms, lodges and cottages. Day to day, that means holding high service standards across every touchpoint, managing revenue, labour and margin with rigour, and maintaining full compliance across food safety, licensing and Health & Safety. You will oversee EPOS, PMS integration and reservation platforms, and work closely with Rooms, Revenue, Sales and Leisure teams to ensure the guest journey feels joined-up from arrival to departure. This is a floor-level leadership role. Visibility, composure and commercial awareness matter as much as operational know-how.

What you'll bring

  • Operating at F&B Manager level within a quality hotel or resort environment, with a strong track record across multi-outlet operations.
  • Hands-on experience of weddings and banqueting, confident P&L ownership, and the people skills to build and retain a capable, engaged team.
  • Steady, organised and ambitious with an eye for detail and a guest-first instinct.

What's on offer

  • £40,000 salary plus performance-related bonus
  • Share of service charge
  • Complimentary spa and leisure access
  • Food, beverage and hotel discounts
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Staff meals and structured onboarding support
  • Flexible working and holiday options

If you're ready to step into a role with real scope, in a beautiful part of the country, we'd like to hear from you.
