A premium countryside resort in North Devon is looking for an ambitious Deputy Food & Beverage Manager to support the leadership of a growing multi-outlet operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys being involved in all aspects of food and beverage operations whilst developing their management and commercial experience within a quality-driven resort environment.
The food and beverage operation sits at the heart of the guest experience, encompassing restaurants, bars, weddings, events and wider resort hospitality. The business has ambitious growth plans and continues to invest heavily in both its people and guest offering.

The Role
Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in leading teams, supporting commercial performance and maintaining consistently high operational standards across the resort. This is a highly visible and hands-on role requiring strong leadership skills, operational confidence and the ability to motivate and develop teams within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day management of restaurants, bars, weddings and events
- Leading, motivating and developing Food & Beverage teams
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and training
- Driving guest satisfaction and maintaining exceptional service standards
- Supporting labour control, stock management and profitability targets
- Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve performance
- Leading pre-shift briefings and communicating operational priorities
- Supporting service improvements and operational initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, licensing and health & safety standards
- Working closely with kitchen, events and wider resort teams to deliver a seamless guest experience

About You

- Previous experience within a supervisory or management Food & Beverage role
- Experience within a hotel, resort or quality hospitality environment
