We are seeking a Financial Accountant to play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant with a genuine interest in developing expertise across both financial reporting and tax within a fast-paced, multinational environment. You will support statutory reporting, audits, and continuous process improvements, working closely with internal teams and external advisors worldwide. This role is ideal for an individual who is ACA qualified and is looking to make their first step into industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, with a focus on external reporting and tax requirements
- Assist with group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare statutory accounts and support external audits, managing deliverables and audit queries
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and assist with technical accounting research and documentation
- Prepare and assist with filing VAT returns
- Assist with transfer pricing documentation
- Support tax audits, inspections, and tax-related projects
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and use of data analytics
Requirements
- ACA Qualified
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, with exposure to indirect and direct taxes
- Experience with consolidated financial statements and audit processes
