Responsibilities
- Act as deputy to the Head of People Advice and lead the team in their absence.
- Provide expert guidance on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and capability.
- Advise on high-risk matters such as whistleblowing, settlement agreements, TUPE, redundancy, and tribunal preparation.
- Oversee the People Advice phone line, inbox, and business change requests.
- Build strong relationships with managers and leaders across the business.
- Analyse ER data to identify trends and support proactive interventions.
- Mentor People Advisors and support onboarding.
- Deliver ER training and contribute to policy development.
