Responsibilities

  • Responsible for complex multicurrency consolidations
  • Lead the accurate and timely completion of external financial reporting
  • Production of subsidiary Statutory Accounts for all legal entities
  • Manage the planning and execution of the annual and interim audit timetables, ensuring smooth and timely processes
  • Support the Group Financial Controller in preparing papers for the Board and Audit Committee
  • Implement changes to IFRS across the Group
  • Coordinate the preparation and approval of new accounting policies
  • Review and prepare going concern, investment appraisal, and goodwill models
  • Manage share-based payment calculations for SAYE and share option schemes
  • Report on intangible assets, both acquired and internally developed
  • Lead acquisition accounting and support integration of new businesses
  • Support legal structure rationalisation and ERP system implementation

Person Requirements

  • Proven experience leading a Group Finance team in a multinational listed company
  • Deep expertise in consolidation processes and financial reporting
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ICAEW, or equivalent)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working under tight deadlines
  • Experience with diverse financial systems and technologies
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
