We’re on the lookout for a charismatic, hands-on Bar Supervisor to join our small, close‑knit team at The Square Club - Bristol’s hidden gem for bespoke private and corporate events, tucked away on Berkeley Square in Clifton.
This is a full time role offering 35 hrs+ per week, worked over 5 shifts on a rota basis. Alongside our Bar Manager, as Supervisor you’ll play a key role in leading our intimate cocktail bar within our private members’ club and boutique hotel. Expect beautifully crafted drinks and cocktails with personality, laid-back weekday service, and vibrant weekend and evening energy - from private parties to weddings and industry mixers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising our decadent members’ and events bar, and acting as duty manager when the Bar Manager’s off, and working alongside them on certain shifts also
- Leading by example - crafting drinks, chatting with guests and members, and keeping the vibe spot on
- Training and supporting our small but mighty bar team
- Playing your part in keeping to GP targets, service standards, and keeping presentation on point
- Creating a warm, engaging, and distinctly Square guest experience - from BBC presenters to wedding guests, we want our customers leaving with a smile!

- Bartending experience in a quality, fast‑paced bar - and ideally some supervisory background
