BRITA UK has been successfully growing its presence in the Water Filtration and Optimum Water Dispenser market for many years. Part of the BRITA group of companies, we are a family-owned business dedicated to changing the way people consume water sustainably. UK based Water Filters HQ is located in Bicester. This site has its own Production & Manufacturing Depot, and we now seek a Maintenance Technician to join this dedicated team in a permanent position.
The Position
We are seeking a candidate who is solutions orientated with experience in Production Equipment & Machinery Maintenance, with at least 2 years experience within a similar role to support our Operations across 3 rotational shift patterns, which will include early, late and night shifts. The ideal candidate will have the experience to be able to apply their skills to a range of preventive and maintenance specific projects, including regular planned preventative maintenance services on our production equipment to prevent breakdowns within the 24/7 production process.
The day-to-day deliverables will include:
- Overseeing the working components of Sensors/Relays/Drives and Inverters
- Prevent breakdown on workable components such as Bearings/Belts/Gearboxes and Conveyors
- Deliver the PPM and Reactive Maintenance
- Fault find and prevent breakdown of the Automation and Robotics of machinery
Skills or Qualifications within the following areas would be ideal:
- Electrical/Mechanical experience advantageous
- Pneumatic maintenance experience
- Be able to read diagrams, technical drawings & manuals
- Ability to fault find to component level
- FMCG / Food / Packaging industry preferred
